I spent three and a half decades in the world of agencies and TMCs. I know what they charge, what they negotiate, and what they don't tell you. Now I work exclusively for companies.

I entered the travel world in 1991, when the industry was completely analog. Over the years I moved through audit, provincial management, regional management — and gradually understood something very few people see from outside: agencies have their own interests, and they don't always align with yours.
What I learned working for agencies
Over 15 years at Halcón Viajes and Viajes Ecuador, then at Globalia Business Travel and BCD Travel, I learned the business from the inside: how margins are structured, what is negotiable and what isn't, how fees are built, how contracts with airlines and hotels work. Information that normally only agencies have.
In 2022, I decided to change sides. Not because agencies are the problem — they are a necessary part of the travel ecosystem, and I have deep respect for the good ones — but because I wanted to put that knowledge at the service of companies. So that the buyer has the same visibility as the seller.
No conflicts of interest. Full stop.
When I worked at agencies, I had sales targets, product quotas, and supplier agreements. Not anymore. I only bill clients. I receive no commission from any agency or provider. That changes the conversation — and the results.
